v2ray高速节点分享The College of New Jersey’s definition of undergraduate research, broadened to “faculty-student scholarly and creative collaborative activity,” reflects our focus on the collaborative nature of the academic work done by our faculty and students together, in all disciplines.

We recognize that learning is greatly enhanced when students are involved in authentic research or original creative projects while being personally mentored by faculty members who share their interests. Our faculty of teacher-scholars bring their original scholarship into the classroom and include students as junior collaborators in their research and creative activities. Students work alongside faculty mentors on research and creative projects in science, computer, and engineering labs and field sites, art and music studios, libraries, archives, and the Ewing/Trenton area community.

TCNJ offers substantial support for these invaluable experiences: students and faculty receive generous course or teaching credit for mentored undergraduate research during the academic year; we have an eight-week, residential Mentored Undergraduate Summer Experience (MUSE); the collaborative work of hundreds of students and faculty from all Schools at TCNJ is presented at the Celebration of Student Achievement each Spring; and throughout the year faculty and students travel to scholarly conferences to present their work.
